Tell
us a bit about yourself.
I
am a Practising Company Secretary, basically from Himachal Pradesh but brought
up in Ambala and Chandigarh. I’m married to my schoolmate whom I met on a
social networking site after 11 years. There are two things I totally love –
writing and analysing the share market.
When
and why did you start blogging?
I
started blogging on 14th June, 2011. I wanted to share my work and know how
readers would take me as an author/ poet. Glad with the kind of response I got
and I am thankful to all my readers.
What
got you into writing?
I
think it came naturally to me. When I was 15, I wrote a poem and everybody
encouraged me. From then on whenever I felt something, I penned it down.
Why
poetry?
Poetry
is divine. You can say a lot in few words, you have the ability to paint a
simple situation with the most colorful of words. It fills life with beauty.
Who
was the first person to read your work?
My
brother, who made fun of it. He still does...:)
What
are your pet peeves?
Nothing
as such...
One
mistake that every amateur poet commits at the beginning?
Trying
to do too much. Be yourself, you will evolve, just believe in yourself.
Why

What
was it like – collaborating with people from round the globe?
It
was a learning experience and fun working with all of them.
One
thing that you want the readers to take away from this book.
I
want people to love this book, I want someone comes to me and say poetry has
the power of evoking emotions and he/she felt that after reading that
book.

I
wear socks all the time. Even when it is 45 degrees.

eat bournvita, that's something I can eat anytime.
