5 Lesser Known Facts about the Book

1. It was originally titled the The Article, but I hated that. It wasn't exciting enough.
2. I started writing it back in high school (about eight years ago), but my writing was abysmal!  However, I couldn't let it go, so I completely re-wrote it.  It went through about 6 versions before I finally fell in love with the current version.
3. When it came to writing the love triangle, I fell in love with the other character, the one who doesn't get the girl.  Poor Landon.
4. It's written in first person, present tense which is highly unusual for a book.  (Some people are thrown off by it at first, but it makes the book more exciting in my eyes.)
5. Frankly, the man behind the murders is pretty easy to decipher if you're paying attention.  I didn't mind that.  But the ending, that's where the surprise twist comes in that always leaves people wanting more.
