Now Presenting:
*** SPECIAL FEATURE - November'12 ***

Rachelle Ayala :: Author Bio
I hate bios. That's because I don't want anyone to know what I've done or how crazy and lunatic I am. My real life is actually quite boring. That's why I do fiction. Oh yeah! So the short version. I'm a software engineer and my favorite language is Java. I'm a certified chocolaholic and I wanted to be a comedian when I was a child. Failing that, I became a software manager. I do wonder parodies of my bosses and coworkers and have always loved to entertain and make people laugh. So if you think my books are silly, that's by design. I write in any genre I fancy and love characters who are flawed but kindhearted. I believe in helping others and reaping friendships.

Her Books

Michal's Window :: In ancient Israel, where women are property, Princess Michal loves her father's worst enemy, the future King David. She sacrifices everything to save his life, but will her heart survive war and separation?
Michal's story comes to life in this powerful and emotional journey through love and heartache to self-realization. Her intense love for King David coupled with tragic circumstances causes her to do the unthinkable. Too strong for her time, Michal's story resonates with women today.

Broken Build :: Jen Jones hides a horrible secret behind her new degree, toned body, and exciting job at Silicon Valley’s hottest startup—until a man linked to her past is killed in a hit-and-run.
CEO and founder Dave Jewell is about to land a huge deal. He doesn't need blood on his car, threatening phone calls, and Jen wrapped in broken code and blackmail.
A gang of thugs hunts Jen, and she takes refuge in Dave’s protective arms. Together, they must thwart a killer and rescue an innocent victim from their past. Love blossoms, but a damaging revelation points straight at Jen, threatening to tear them apart forever.

Your Daily Bible Verse :: Bible Verses correlated by Month and Day to Chapter and Verse starting from January 1 and Genesis 1:1 to December 31 and Mark 12:31. Need a memory verse? or a life verse? Curious which verse correlates to your birthday or anniversary? There's a special verse for each of the 366 days of the year. Includes Bible Verse Memorization tips.

    1. Hi Jan, I just LOVE your book. Danielle is a heroine you just have to love. She is understated and in control most of the time, but she has such as big, loving heart and takes on way more responsibility. I totally understood her, maybe because I wrote Michal, and also because I experienced grief as a mother. I love how you wove the perfume and all of the sensory stimulation into the story.

    1. Well, I must say, I loved the many levels in your book, the backdrop in the Karoo as contrast to what was happening in Britain. You have a wonderful way of painting with words. From the beginning I knew things were not as simple as Ilsa wanted us to think. Unreliable narrator, deep seated mystery, parallel storylines and a sense of deja vu. What more could a reader want?

      When I arrived in England I thought I’d been shoved into a chicken coup, a claustrophobic crush. But I grew to like it and the smallness fascinated me. Round trees, neat green fields, villages linked by roads like stitches in a quilt. Pale hills that looked as though part of the milky sky had seeped into the ground. Not beautiful, not striking. Comfortable as an old jersey. The emptiness of the Karoo could drive you mad. It drove my mother mad.

      Duncan, Malla (2012-03-18). Deep As Bone (p. 9). . Kindle Edition.

      [and one wonders whether the narrator was as mad as her mother, only hiding it better.]

    1. Hi Terry! Well of course I had to include your book. It's just SO-O UNIQUE. I've got to hand it to Michael and Ally, they are both so high spirited and stubborn. I love that scene where Ally thinks she's going to get away. She's riding on that little horse, clop, clop, clop, and along comes the ogre...

      Okay, folks, please enter the giveaway because this is an awesome collection of books! You will not regret winning them. Notorious Proposal is hot, hot, and hotter with a lovely field of bluebells. I absolutely won't tell you what happens there. Just be glad neither Ally or Michael are allergic to bluebells. Enter the giveaway and win the book, or failing that, go buy it now. You'll never think about blueballs, er, I mean bluebells the same ever again.
