Meet Emily from 'A Way Back into Love'
What do you like best about yourself? Least?
My best quality is that I love my family and friends to death. My worst quality is my impetuosity.
What are your most important values?
The three C’s. Compassion, caring and commitment.
What emotion/feeling are you afraid to experience?
The feeling of rejection and humiliation.
What do you care about the most in the world?
My friends and family. They are my backbone.
What do you carry in your pockets/purse/backpack, etc.?
Breath mints, a comb and cell phone.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
When I was a kid, I flunked my test once because I had been careless. As I had always been the topper, all my classmates mocked me until the midterms.
What’s the worst thing you have ever done to someone and why?
I have kissed my sister’s boyfriend because I was attracted to him. She never forgave me for it and rightly so.
What would you like it to say on your tombstone?
True friends are never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart.
What's your idea of a good marriage? Do you think that'll happen in your life?
My idea of a good marriage is a relationship founded on trust, love and friendship. A marriage needs constant work. There is no room for laziness in a marriage. You have to work hard at your marriage if you want it to succeed.
At this point in my life, I’m not really sure I can have that with someone.
How do you feel about your life right now? What, if anything, would you like to change?
My life is picture perfect from the outside, but broken from the inside.
I would like to glue the shattered pieces of my life back together, and be with my best friends and family again.
About the Author:
Veronica Thatcher is an exciting new contemporary romance author. Ever since she was very young, she’s dreamed of becoming a doctor when she grew up. While still forging ahead with that, majoring in pre-med in college, she unwittingly stumbled upon a new dream—becoming a published author. Some may call her an introvert or a wallflower, but she has always found she could express herself better in written, rather than spoken, words. However, never in her wildest dreams had she envisioned she would pursue writing as a prospective career, not just a hobby. Her love for writing goes hand-in-hand with her love for a good romance novel—whether it be a feel-good, sweet romance or a dark, suspenseful one. When she’s not studying, reading, or writing, she is usually found blasting her favourite songs, sometimes singing and dancing along to them. She dabbles in a number of activities, including painting, karate, singing and dancing. She is a huge chocoholic – probably the biggest – and she is an ice-cream junkie too. She considers herself technologically handicapped forever and has no shame in admitting that. She also deems chocolates her boyfriend, Patrick Dempsey the love of her life, and Friends her life!
Her first book, A Way Back Into Love, is slated for release in February 2017, and she hopes readers will enjoy it as much as she enjoyed writing it. You can reach Veronica through Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, Wattpad and Gmail.
