Tagged Yet Again!!

I have been "Tagged" again & this time by Aparajita @ Le Grande Codex !!!

Thanks Aparajita!!

Here are the tag rules:
1. You must post the rules.
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then create ten new questions to ask the people that you have tagged.
3. Tag ten people and link to them on your post.
4. Let them know you've tagged them!

Here are Aparajita's Questions:

1. What is it about books that attract you so much?
Ans: Its the fact that I can travel round the world, live dangerously & have dangerous adventures through the pages :)

2. A book character to which you can identify yourself.
Ans: Yet to find someone like me... But there are loads of characters that I would love to be like.

3. Do you prefer print or ebooks? If you are going on a journey then which is the one book that you can't do without?
Ans: Hold on! That's two questions under one!!! Print books all the way - I love the feel of reading an actual book, their colourfulness and their smell!! I always have Agatha Christie & Jeffrey Archer books on my cell - they are my 'any time' reads.

4. Mention the one book or a series that inspires you.
Ans: Thunder Dog by Michael Hingson. Its about a blind survivor from the Twin towers on 9/11 and his guide dog. The relationship between a dog & man is inspiring. But what got me most is the fact that we usually feel sympathy for blind people, right? After reading this book - I realised that they really do not need our sympathy. They are as strong as any of us - maybe stronger. I loved the book.

5. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?
Ans: I would be Sirius Black of Harry Potter or Damon Salvatore of The Vampire Diaries.

6. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?
Ans: I usually do not like movies based on books since they usually change it or skip the crucial parts. Look what they did to Half Blood Prince - the worst in the movie series. They skipped the Hogwarts Battle!!! So, I don't want any of my favourite books to ever make it on the silver screen. It'll just disappoint me.

7. What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to books?
Ans: I hate it when people borrow books and do not return it! Also I hate to see someone folding the pages - even if the book isn't mine.

8. If you had to spend eternity inside the pages of a book which book would you choose and why?
Ans: EASY! Harry Potter!! I would be Sirius Black - Obviously!! Eternity of magic, pranks, quidditch, chocolate frogs & Hogwarts! Who wouldn't want that??

9. What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
Ans: How do I know if a book is mediocre or not if I don't read it? I have often hated highly rated books & loved books with poor reviews. I like decide for myself whether a book is good, mediocre or poor and for that I need to read them. Plus the lure of new books is too much for me - So I choose 100 new mediocre books.

10. What is it about blogging that you like the most?
Ans: It gives me an opportunity to rant :) Also, meeting new people & most of all - the comments.

  1. Hi, DDS. You have great answers to all the questions. I couldn't agree with you more on #9. I like to decide for myself if a book is mediocre. And I wouldn't mind living inside of the HP books. I'd be Hermione though.

Thanks for tagging me. I'll get my answers up this week.

    1. Well, if we can be whatever we want to be then I'd love to be Sirius. But in case have to keep the gender constant I have to choose a girl character, then I'd be Hermione too

  2. Thanks for tagging me! :D

  3. I know what you mean about folding pages...or writing on pages, it's book abuse, haha.
