Now Presenting:
*** SPECIAL FEATURE - January'13 ***
Widow Sarah Johnson struggled to pick up the pieces after her life was ripped apart. After two years of grieving, she’s found contentment in her thriving business as photographer to Hollywood’s A-list and in raising her angel-faced daughter, Kylee... until bodyguard and long-time friend Ethan Cooke changes everything with a searing moonlight kiss.
Sarah’s world turns upside down as she struggles with her unexpected attraction to Ethan and the guilt of betraying her husband’s memory. But when blue roses and disturbing notes start appearing on her doorstep, she has no choice but to lean on Ethan as he fights to save her from a stalker that won’t stop until he has what he prizes most.
Last week I included the soundtrack, of sorts, for Morgan’s
Hunter. I think it’s only fair to do the
same for Ethan and Sarah’s story. So,
here they are…

Fun Facts about Falling for Sarah
Ethan and Sarah started begging for their own story shortly
after I began writing Morgan’s Hunter.
I had the characters and title for Falling for Sarah long
before the plotline—a drink of water late one night changed that! I’d finished watching a particularly
disturbing documentary on serial killers and went to the kitchen for a glass of
water. As I filled the cup, I glanced up
and caught sight of our porch pillar through the window. I thought someone was there! After laughing it off, I immediately thought
‘What would it feel like to be watched? What would it be like to look up and
see someone in the window that didn’t belong there?’ The story came together quickly after that!
While writing Falling for Sarah, I found myself diving into
dark and disturbing depths to bring the main villain, Zeke Denmire, to
life. On more than one occasion he
disturbed me so much I brought my laptop to bed because I was too afraid to
stay up alone after my husband and children had gone to sleep for the night.
Out of the four novels I’ve created, Falling for Sarah is probably
my favorite.
Female readers seem to think Ethan is the hunkiest of the
three bodyguards featured so far (opinions may vary!) and they all love Kylee,
Sarah’s little girl.
Like all three books in The Bodyguards of L.A. County
series, Falling for Sarah, continues to hold its own on Amazon’s best sellers
(e-book and paperback—Romantic suspense).
Although Falling for Sarah is the second story in The
Bodyguards of L.A. County series, it can be read as a stand-alone book.

everyone. I highly recommend it. I am so looking forward to the third
installment Hailey's Truth.” – Pat F. on Goodreads
“There wasn’t a time in this book you weren’t
on the edge of your seat either for screaming at Sarah and Ethan to work out
there issues or for fearing for the next victim and when he would finally come
after Sarah.” – Cindy Overton on Goodreads
“I really enjoyed the heartwarming story and
characters in this wonderful romantic
suspense thriller. The book had all the ingredients of action, romance, mystery and family.
I loved every moment of it!” – Rebecca on Amazon

“Powerful chemistry between very well developed
characters. Not just Ethan and Sarah, but every single one of them. The bad guy
was so well written, I double checked my locks before I went to bed.” --PK on Amazon
Ethan was the one in the delivery room with Sarah. He was also there with her when the Marines brought the most dreaded news of any military personnel’s family – Jake had died in Afghanistan. Ethan makes a promise to Sarah that day to be there for her till the time she needed him. Their friendship quietly changes into platonic love and then to something more. Both Sarah and Ethan felt guilty about their relationship and felt as if they were like dishonouring Jake’s memory. But when a crazy psychopath starts stalking Sarah, and push comes to pull, they end up where they were meant to be all along – in each other’s arms.
The book had me from the word go. The very first chapter has, Sarah coming home with Kylee – very heartwarming moment that puts a smile on your face. Then Ethan trying to change Kylee’s diaper – hilarious and then came the news about Jake that will make you sad. Such a wide range of feelings in the very first chapter! I was hooked. Then following Ethan and Sarah’s journey to finding each other is such a satisfying experience too. Plus add and cute cuddly Kylee into the mix – how can one not like it?
Cate’s style of writing is simple and inviting. There’s such a smooth flow in the story without a single dull moment. This one book will make you laugh, cry, panic and frustrated – all in one. But by the time you are done with it, you are bound to have a satisfied smile on your face. This was so my kind of romance!

Falling for Sarah was MY favorite too. I just love a man who can love another man's child because he loves the woman. Ethan is so big hearted and even though he has issues, he wants so badly to be good for Sarah.
