About

Hello there!

My name is Debdatta Dasgupta Sahay and I am a book addict from Kolkata, India. When I am not reading, I am driving people nuts by talking about them. I used to be a Human Resource Professional with 6 years of work experience under my belt. I am currently pursuing my 2nd Post-Graduate degree in Mass Communication and Journalism.

My reading journey began with Satyajit Ray's books and till date he is my top favourite author. I also love (in no particular order) Anita Desai, Salil Desai, Sudha Murthy, Shatrujeet Nath, Agatha Christie, Enid Blyton, Lee Child, Jeffery Archer,  Sarah J. Maas, J.K Rowling, Chris Kuzneski, P.G Wodehouse, David Baldacci, James Patterson,  Alexander McCall Smith... And the list goes on.

I started b00k r3vi3ws blog back in February, 2012 as an outlet for my bookish craziness. I also started b00k r3vi3w Tours in October 2014 to help promote books.

A note about the reviews you will find on this blog... I just want to make one thing very clear - I never ever want to discourage anyone from picking up a particular book. So if you come across the occasional 1/2 Heart reviews - please understand that the book was not according to my tastes. It doesn't necessarily mean that you will not like it either. I always try to include the reason why I did not like a particular book - if the reason I state is one that you do not mind, go ahead and give it a try.

Also, I would love to hear from you guys about your thoughts on my recommendations... Did you ever pick up a book because I rated it 4/5 Hearts? If yes, what did you think of it?

  1. I like the clean look of your blog, and the stacks of old books look just like home. I forgot to tell you The Phantom PIlot is a YA mystery.
