#Interview with Isabelle Connors, #Author of Undying Love Series

About the Author:
My name is Isabelle Connors. I am a new writer and I just recently published the first book in the “Undying Love” series called the “The Introduction”. I am so excited about this journey that I am on (nervous more so), because it gives me a chance to bare my soul to the world. These characters have lived in my head for a long time and I think it’s time you guys got a chance to meet them. I hope you fall in love with these individuals. I hope you cry and laugh with them, and I hope you get the life lessons with them.
Thank you for supporting me and believing in me!

Interview with the Author:

When did you first realize that you wanted to be a writer/ a storyteller?
I’m not sure of the exact date, but I’ve always love to read. I’ve been known to read a few books in a week when I go into a reading binge. But, I didn’t start out writing books. I started with poetry and poetry grew into this series. I hope to somehow insert some of my poetry into my writing very soon.

What inspires you to write?
Everything. I get inspired by the most trivial things. Even bird watching inspired me a few times.

How did you come up with the idea for your current story?
This current series has many inspiration. Some from previous relationships. Some from friends and but mostly from my imagination.

What is your favorite scene in the book? Why?
My favorite scene is the first time that Skylar meets Arianna. Not the first time he sees her, but the first time he speaks to her. It’s my favorite scene because it felt so genuine and real.

Did any of your characters inherit some of your own quirks?
Arianna’s indecisiveness I think is from me. Her love of chocolate and her love of music are all from me.

What is your most interesting writing quirk?
I get so nervous reading my own work that I sometimes I get nauseous. I am my own worst critic.

Do you read? Who are your favourite authors and how have they influenced your writing style?
I could never be a writer if I didn’t read. I love to read. Some of my favorite authors are John Grisham, Stieg Larsson, C.M. Stunich, & Abbi Glines. These are just a few off the top of my head. I don’t really how they’ve influenced my writing style. My reading varies much that I really don’t know.

What is the best piece of advice you have received, as a writer, till date?
Never stop writing. No matter what happens or what anyone says, continue to write.

What is the best piece of advice you would give to someone that wants to get into writing?
If you want to be an author don’t wait until your book is published before you make your social media presence known. Do your research about the genre you intend to write in. Don’t stop reading even when you’re writing. Beta readers are important and are crucial to your success. Listen to them. They are your readers. Also, if you are an Indie Writer do your best to get your work professionally edited.

What would be the Dream Cast for you book if it was to be turned into a movie?
I love this question. I think maybe someone like Rihanna’s look would be perfect for Arianna’s appearance. For Skylar, I think maybe Zac Effron.

If you were to be stranded on the famous deserted island, what three things would you carry?
An endless supplies of whoppers, a solar powered charger and my iPad. It’s not efficient but at least I’ll be happy to the end. Lol.

How do you spend your free time? Do you have a favorite place to go and unwind?
I try to spend as much free time with my husband as possible. Between reading and writing I tend to neglect him at times. He has the patience of a saint.

Tell us three fun facts about yourself.
-I love Arizona Sweet Tea.
-Did I mention I love whoppers? (The chocolate malt balls.)
-For reasons I do not understand my favorite color is black.

What do you have in store next for your readers?
I have a spinoff of the Undying Love series. It’s called Unscripted Love and this series is about Rachel.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with your readers?
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I love meeting new people and hearing what they think of the series.

About the Books:
Love is a gift, and not everyone is lucky enough to find it. Or maybe the lucky ones are those who never find it. This is not your average love story, this is a life story. Your teenage years aren't supposed to be complicated. But, sometimes they are. What happens when you're attracted to the new stranger in town. Do you just fall in love and live happily-ever-after? Do you follow through on your feelings, even though you know you shouldn't?

From the very first night, Arianna meets Skylar she experiences this indescribable deep connection that she's never felt before. She's terrified and excited all at the same time. She wants to act on these feelings, but she can't, no matter how much she wants to. Things are just too complicated!

Moving from a big city to a small town is never easy, especially for a teenager who had it all. So when Skylar's family has to leave New York for Gulfport Florida, he's not very happy. But maybe things aren't going to be so bad?! Skylar has never been in love before, but he thinks he just may have fallen in love with the girl who caught his eye on his very first night in his new hometown. Even though he's sure she feels the same connection, she keeps resisting because of her misplaced loyalty.

Will love conquer all? Or is that just another fabricated lie that people tell you as a child?

After fighting so hard to win Arianna's heart Skylar is determined to keep it. There's only one problem, life. He tries his hardest to adapt into college life, but it's not that easy balancing everything. No matter how hard he tries, there's always something or someone in his way.

Arianna knew that once Skylar left for College their relationship would never be the same. She tries her hardest to keep their relationship intact, but nothing seems to be enough.

Is their love truly an Undying Love or is it just an infatuation?
