Thank you for letting me share with your readers today. I'm delighted to talk about the cosplay I attended last month.

Surreal

What's the definition of surreal? Cosplay of a character you dreamed up. Seeing someone embody the character as a living, breathing person. That happened on Oct 10, 2020 when Nik Nitsvetov cosplayed my immortal king, Pietas, a character in more than a dozen books.

The cosplay event happened in Moscow, Russia and in the first hour, I was able to take part via Instagram's live function. The second hour took place live on TikTok. This was unexpected, but because Nik has literally ten times as many followers there, it made perfect sense. The event resulted in nearly 900 images I can use for marketing, banners, and book covers.
