Meet the lead character in Bovine Tricks, MI6 Agent Tillie Spencer

If you had a free day with no responsibilities and your only mission was to enjoy yourself, what would you do?

Crikey! I’m so bloody busy, I rarely have time for a breather. I suppose I could hop the Tube and take a trip to the eastside of London, maybe pop in on me mum. She worries so about my job, always thinks I am going to wind up dead. But if I’m being truthful, I’d love to spend the day with my love, Abdul, just chilling. Sure, we work together, but alone time is the best! (Winks.) 

If you could spend the day with someone you admire (living or dead or imaginary), who would you pick?

That one is easy! The Queen, of course. A cuppa would be just the thing. She continually asks for me when one of her relative’s goes rogue, but we’ve never met in person. Of course, I’d probably take a tumble when attempting a curtsy, but just seeing her sweet smile, her gracious demeanor, would mean the world to me. I would be gobsmacked if she rang me and requested my presence at tea.

Tell us 3 things about yourself that the readers do not know about.

1. My favorite color is purple.

2. I am trying to master Arab cuisine. Abdul wants hummus, he wants Fattoush, he wants Mansaf. Arrrgh. Fish and chips are so much easier. He says that’s bland.

3. If I marry Abdul, I will be an Arab princess.
